War Memorial South Ossett

The cenotaph war memorial depicting a WW1 soldier in the town centre is Ossett's most well-known epitaph to the men that died in the 1st World War between 1914-1918. However, there is another war memorial in Ossett, which honours those men who died in the Great War but lived in South Ossett. This impressive plaque in memory of those men is located in the burial ground of South Ossett Church, which is located off Manor Road near to Ossett Spa.
